ABSTRACT The purpose of this research paper is to implement a machine learning model with the integration of the supply chain occupational reference (SCOR) model to develop an artificial intelligence-based system for resilient and sustainable supplier selection for a pharmaceutical company. Initially, the SCOR 4.0 model with the integration of Best Worst Method (BWM) has been used to develop the framework of customer satisfaction and to identify the critical elements of the suppliers. Later, the gradient boosting machine learning model has been implemented to classify the supplier as well as rank the suppliers from best to worst based on the acceptability score. The result shows that the gradient boosting algorithm performs well as a classifier, where the supplier with the most acceptability score represents the best supplier and the supplier with the least acceptability score represents the worst supplier. This study contributes to our understanding of how and when integrated SCOR and machine learning models can help improve supplier selection.

Resilient and sustainable supplier selection: an integration of SCOR 4.0 and machine learning approach

This study aims to highlight the usefulness of studying the performance of supply chains (SC) at the sectoral level in greater detail through the combination of a disaggregated supply chain operations reference (SCOR) model, with a multicriteria decision-making approach, specifically using an AHP, to adjust the analysis to the particularities of the sector under study by stakeholders’ judgements. The methodology was applied to the Ecuadorian flower industry, and the data for the analysis was from a survey of a group of companies that represent this sector. In addition, a focus group of SC experts weighted the model constructs as part of the analytic hierarchy process (AHP), and then the performance level for each construct was determined. According to the results methodologies, this model allows the classification of companies by their performance, as well as the performance of the aggregate sector. The processes that Ecuadorian flower companies need to improve on are planning, procurement, and manufacturing. The study’s main contribution is developing a general framework for measuring the overall performance of SCs and how the results are obtained. This tool could help managers, consultants, industries, and governments to assess the performance of SCs, as well as improving SC management in order to increase the sector’s competitiveness in the international market.

Measuring the Supply Chain Performance of the Floricultural Sector Using the SCOR Model and a Multicriteria Decision-Making Method

This study identifies and ranks the appropriate critical success decision criteria (CSDC) for the bulk order distribution (sharing) amongst multiple manufacturers (suppliers) working as an extended enterprise (EE).,The study deploys a qualitative approach to generate the appropriate decision criteria. The balanced scorecard and Pareto's chart (using Minitab® version 18) were used for gathering and analysing the pertinent criteria.,The process of evaluating and selecting the right manufacturers is essential. Manufacturer (supplier) selection is no longer decided solely based on cost/price criterion; currently, the quality and delivery criteria prevail. Additional incorporated criteria include price/cost, technical capability, production facilities and capacity, customer satisfaction and impression, geographical location, management and organisation, financial position, environmental concern, performance history, repair service, information technology and communication systems, procedural compliance, labour relation record, reputation, flexibility or diversification, attitude, operating controls, business desire, packaging ability, past business records, trust and loyalty, training aids, complaint handling service, warranties and claim policies, reciprocal arrangements, research and development and innovation, modern slavery concern, sustainable capability, collaborative/partnership and responsiveness. The study proposed a conceptual framework of an EE alongside how manufacturers working as a single virtual entity can consider the supply chain operations reference (SCOR®) model.,The identified CSDC are suitable for order allocation to domestic manufacturers. The deployed approaches could be extended to the mixed and quantitative approaches for increasing the generalisability.,The study establishes the pertinent CSDC that are important to execute equitable order distribution to manufacturers in an EE framework.

Development of the critical success decision criteria for an equitable order sharing in an extended enterprise

The evolution of the economic, social and regulatory environment in addition to the specificity of pharmaceutical products requires the pharmaceuticals wholesale-distributors, in order to maintain and improve their performance, to be more competitive, agile and responsive to different constraints and criteria imposed by the various players in the supply chain and by the environmental uncertainty. The development of models that integrate the sharing information amongst supply partners, at all decision levels with uncertainty consideration is a key success factor to achieve these objectives and to increase organizational productivity and profitability. 
This paper presents an adaptation of the SCOR processes to the pharmaceuticals Wholesale-Distributors supply chain. 
The purpose is twofold: 
- The SCOR model is widely acknowledged as the quasi-industry standard for SCM. However, its application within Moroccan enterprises still postponed. This article has as main interest to fill this gap. 
- SCOR modelling is the first step in our approach which aims at setting up a dynamic and efficient decisionmaking system in supply chain management of pharmaceuticals wholesale distributors and that consider the uncertainty. SCOR model assists to better map and analyses the entire supply chain. Moreover, it provides key performance indicators that we will also adapt and use in our system. 
Future works will be devoted to the same dual objective: 
(i) adapting and enriching SCOR performance indicators to suit pharmaceuticals distribution and, 
(ii) the fulfillment of the decision-making system.

Planning and Modelling of Pharmaceuticals Wholesale-Distributors Supply Chain Using SCOR Model: A Moroccan Case Study

The adoption of the business process model notation for the description of internal workflows and procedures by both public administrations and private organizations is steadily growing, thanks to the simplicity of the standard and its consistent expressivity. However, the lack of semantic support from BPMN can pose important limitations to its efficient use, as ambiguities in task definitions and communications can lead to misinterpretations. Furthermore, there is the need to validate the BPMNs, to check their adherence to regulations, especially in public administration, and to verify their conformance to security and privacy constraints. In this work, we present SemPrAnn, a semantic annotation tool for BPMN that, exploiting domain ontologies and logical rules, provides the possibility to unambiguously identify concepts in workflows and to run inferential engines against them to enforce the rules. The manuscript presents the methodology applied for the implementation of the tool, the tool itself with its exposed functionalities, and a case study demonstrating its current capabilities.

A tool for the semantic annotation, validation and optimization of business process models

Digital transformation is reshaping the way business is managed all over the world. It represents a value driven process, increases efficiency for industrial practitioners and offers new opportunities towards new approaches and methods for academic researchers. Being widely known and constantly developed to increase supply chain excellence, by combining practice and research [1] [2], the supply chain operations reference model (SCOR) has been selected for this study. This paper's objective is to bring up the concept of digitalization in supply chain (SC), examine this emerging trend and highlight the SCOR model implication in integrating digitalization in SC.

L'evaluation d'une chaine logistique est une des priorites majeures des entreprises, une tâche qui demeure difficile etant donnee la complexite de ces systemes [1]. Cette evaluation passe par une selection des indicateurs de mesure de la performance appropries a la gestion de cette chaine. Il est alors necessaire d'avoir une demarche structuree et des outils methodologiques adequats [2]. Dans ce contexte, on propose dans ce papier une methode pratique qui permettra, dans un premier lieu de modeliser une chaine logistique marocaine selon le modele SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference), propose par le Supply Chain Council. Elle permettra ensuite d'identifier les indicateurs appropries a chaque niveau pour l'evaluation de la performance selon la vision strategique fixee. Dans ce cadre, s'inscrit notre problematique de recherche qui s'interesse a la contribution de la modelisation d'entreprise a l'amelioration de la performance logistique. Il s'agit d'une question qu'on peut formuler et representer comme suite : Comment peut-on adapter le modele SCOR pour evaluer et ameliorer la performance logistique des PMEs marocaines ? Cette etude s'appuie sur un cas d'application dans une PME du secteur automobile marocain.

The evaluation of a supply chain is a major priority of companies; it is a task that remains difficult due to the complexity of these systems [1] This evaluation involves a selection of performance measurement indicators, which are appropriate to the management of this chain It is then necessary to have a structured approach and adequate methodological tools [2] Indeed, we propose in this paper a practical method that will model in the first place a Moroccan automotive supply chain, according to the SCOR® model (Supply Chain Operations Reference), proposed by the Supply Chain Council This method will also identify at each level the appropriate indicators for the performance evaluation depending on the strategic vision In this context our research problem is made, it is interested in the contribution of the business modelling to improve logistics performance To the best knowledge of the authors, this is the first work that proposes a case study believed to be easy to understand, practical and suitable for the automotive sector In short, this study is a real application leap to resolve the problematic unanswered of practical SCOR® model using an industrial application in the Moroccan automotive sector
