Study of TEXTOR ICRF Antenna Coupling in the ICWC Mode of Operation
Manash Kumar Paul,A.I. Lyssoivan,R. Koch,G. Van Wassenhove,V. Philipps,G. Bertschinger,Gennady Sergienko,R. Laengner,B. Unterberg,M. Vervier,Textor Team +10 more
- 02 Dec 2009
TL;DR: In this article, an ICWC discharge was performed in a continuous Helium flow with adjunction of molecular Hydrogen, puffed after the ICRF ignition, thus achieving better antenna coupling in the mode conversion scenario with improved ICWC performance.

Quantification of chemical erosion in the diii-d divertor and implications for iter
Adam McLean,P.C. Stangeby,B.D. Bray,S. Brezinsek,N.H. Brooks,J.W. Davis,R.C. Isler,A. Kirschner,R. Laengner,C.J. Lasnier,Y. Mu,J. Munoz,D.L. Rudakov,Oliver Schmitz,Ezekial A Unterberg,J.G. Watkins,D.G. Whyte,C.P.C. Wong +17 more
TL;DR: The Porous Plug Injector (PPI) has proven to be an invaluable diagnostic for in situ characterization and quantification of erosion phenomena in DIII-D.
Progress on the application of ELM control schemes to ITER scenarios from the non-active phase to DT operation
A. Loarte,G. Huijsmans,Shimpei Futatani,Larry R. Baylor,Todd Evans,D. M. Orlov,Oliver Schmitz,Marina Becoulet,P. Cahyna,Y. Gribov,A. Kavin,A. Sashala Naik,David Campbell,T.A. Casper,E. Daly,H. Frerichs,A. Kischner,R. Laengner,S.W. Lisgo,R.A. Pitts,G. Saibene,Andreas Wingen +21 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors defined the requirements for edge localized mode (ELM) control and the application of ELM control methods both for high fusion performance DT operation and non-active low-current operation in ITER.
