Delta K forbiddenness in neutron capture resonances in 177Lu.
TL;DR: In this article, the difference between {Delta}{ital K}-nondiscriminative and {Delta {ital k}-allowed] transition rates was calculated, and the average values for the forbidden and allowed transition ensembles were then 0.59 and 1.31, respectively.

K hindrance in primary {gamma} decay after thermal and average resonance neutron capture
I. Huseby,Trine Spedstad Tveter,L. Bergholt,M. Guttormsen,E. Melby,John Rekstad,Sunniva Siem,R.K. Sheline +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the intensity distributions of primary gamma-ray transitions following thermal and average resonance neutron capture have been found to display a dependence on the final-state K quantum number, and the apparent K-hindrance effect is significantly stronger in the thermal than in the average resonance case.
