Henric Krawczynski,J. Prahl,F. Arqueros,S.M. Bradbury,Juan Cortina,T. Deckers,R. Eckmann,E. Feigl,José Fernández,V. Fonseca,Burkhardt Funk,J. Gebauer,J. C. Gonzalez,V. Haustein,G. Heinzelmann,I. Holl,O. Kirstein,H. Kornmeyer,F. Krennrich,Axel Lindner,E. Lorenz,N. Magnussen,S. Martinez,M. Merck,H. Meyer,R. Mirzoyan,H. Möller,Abelardo Moralejo,N. Müller,L. Padilla,D. Petry,R. Plaga,C. Prosch,G. Rauterberg,Wolfgang Rhode,M. Samorski,J. Sanchez,D. Schmele,R.N. Sooth,W. Stamm,S. Westerhoff,B. Wiebel-Sooth,M. Willmer +42 more
TL;DR: In this article, an optimized method is presented for the reconstruction of air shower directions for scintillator arrays, taking into account that both the expectation value and the spread of the measured arrival times not only depend on the distance of a counter from the shower axis, but also on the number of particles registered in that counter.

Konrad Bernlöhr,S. Gamp,G. Hermann,Werner Hofmann,Thomas Kihm,J. Knöppler,G. Leffers,V. Matheis,M. Panter,U. Trunk,M. Ulrich,T. Wolf,R. Zink,Joachim Heintze,P. Lennert,S. Polenz,R. Eckmann +16 more
TL;DR: The Cosmic Ray Tracking (CRT) project represents a study on the use of tracking detectors of the time projection chamber type to detect secondary cosmic ray particles in extensive air showers as discussed by the authors.

TL;DR: In this article, the angular resolution of scintillator arrays used to observe extended air showers (EAS) is used for the search for VHE/UHE γ point sources.
