An iterative current-based hybrid method for complex structures
R.E. Hodges,Yahya Rahmat-Samii +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a general unified hybrid method for radiation and scattering problems such as antennas mounted on a large platform is presented, referred to as the hybrid EFIE-MFIE (HEM), in which the EFIE and MFIE are applied to geometrically distinct regions of an object.

On sampling continuous aperture distributions for discrete planar arrays
R.E. Hodges,Yahya Rahmat-Samii +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the theory of sampling continuous distributions for the purpose of determining planar array excitation coefficients is examined and the cause of pattern degradation associated with conventional sampling is identified, and a new method called integrated sampling is introduced which provides superior results.
