PHASE FORMATION AND SUPERCONDUCTIVITY OF Fe-TUBE ENCAPSULATED AND VACUUM-ANNEALED MgB2
K. P. Singh,K. P. Singh,V. P. S. Awana,Mohammed Shahabuddin,Mushahid Husain,R. B. Saxena,Rashmi Nigam,M. A. Ansari,Anurag Gupta,Himanshu Narayan,Himanshu Narayan,S. K. Halder,Hari Kishan +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported an optimization of the synthesis parameters viz. heating temperature (TH), and hold time (thold) for vacuum-annealed (10-5 Torr) and liquid nitrogen quenched (LN2) MgB2 compound.

A COMPARISON OF THE RESISTIVITY BEHAVIOR OF MgB2, AlB2 AND AgB2 SYSTEMS
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have analyzed the data in terms of impurity scattering, electron-phonon scattering, and weak localization, and found that the AlB2 (AgB2) sample involves maximum (minimum) effect of the impurity, electron phonon interaction and strong localization.

Induction of superconductivity in Y0.4Pr0.6Ba2−xSrxCu3O7 system with increasing Sr substitution
V. P. S. Awana,M. A. Ansari,Anurag Gupta,R. B. Saxena,Hari Kishan,Rajeev Rawat,V. Ganesan,A. V. Narlikar,Devendra Buddhikot,S. K. Malik +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a solid-state reaction route was used to synthesize Y0.4Pr0.6Ba2−xSrxCu3O7 (0.0, 0.4, 1.0).

Systematic induction of superconductivity in the Cu (Y1−xCax)Ba2Cu2O6+δ (\delta \approx 0.3 ) system by Ca substitution
V. P. S. Awana,M. A. Ansari,Rashmi Nigam,Anurag Gupta,S. B. Samanta,R. B. Saxena,Hari Kishan,V. Ganesan,A. V. Narlikar,M. Arai,Maarit Karppinen,Hisao Yamauchi,Devendra Buddhikot,S. K. Malik +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, a series of samples of the composition Cu (Y1−xCax)Ba2Cu3O6+δ () have been prepared by a solid-state synthesis route.

IMPACT OF Zn SUBSTITUTION ON PHASE FORMATION AND SUPERCONDUCTIVITY OF Bi1.6Pb0.4Sr2Ca2Cu3-xZnxO10-δ WITH x = 0.0, 0.015, 0.03, 0.06, 0.09 AND 0.12
R. B. Saxena,Rajiv Giri,V. P. S. Awana,Hari Singh,M. A. Ansari,B. V. Kumaraswamy,Anurag Gupta,Rashmi Nigam,K. P. Singh,Hari Kishan,O.N. Srivastava +10 more
TL;DR: The lattice parameters a and c of main phase (Bi-2223) do not change significantly with increasing x as evidenced by both resistivity [ρ (T)] and ac magnetic susceptibility [χ(T)] measurements as discussed by the authors.
