TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigate a dynamic strategy to mitigate wisp-like structures using long-wavelength reference images, based on a suite of experiments where they embed a worst-case scenario median-stacked wisp into wisp free images, and define suitable parameters for their wisp removal strategy.
