Gold-plasmon enhanced solar-to-hydrogen conversion on the {001} facets of anatase TiO2 nanosheets
Jinlin Long,Jinlin Long,Hongjin Chang,Quan Gu,Quan Gu,Jie Xu,Lizhou Fan,Shuchao Wang,Yangen Zhou,Wei Wei,Ling Huang,Xuxu Wang,Ping Liu,Wei Huang +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, a 64-fold improved efficiency of solar-to-hydrogen conversion (SHC) was achieved via exposing Au nanoparticles (NPs) on the {001} facets of anatase TiO2 nanosheets.

Temperature-controlled morphology evolution of graphitic carbon nitride nanostructures and their photocatalytic activities under visible light
TL;DR: In this article, a series of g-C3N4 photocatalysts were synthesized by changing the temperature through air-assisted thermal polymerization and etching, and the detailed characterization and analysis clearly revealed that the texture, surface structure, optical properties, and band structure of G-C 3N4 depend on the preparation conditions such as atmosphere and temperature.

Surfactant-free synthesis of plasmonic tungsten oxide nanowires with visible-light-enhanced hydrogen generation from ammonia borane.
TL;DR: WO3-x nanowires exhibit strong plasmonic absorption in the visible and near-infrared region owing to the abundant oxygen vacancies and provide five times enhancement on the hydrogen generation from ammonia borane.
