Microstructure and properties of La2O3-doped tungsten-based bulk material and its densification mechanism during spark plasma sintering process
TL;DR: In this paper , the feasibility and effectiveness of fabricating La2O3-doped W-based bulk with core-shell structure with W particle as a core and La(OH)3 as a shell without hydrogen reduction treatment was evaluated.

Investigation on a ferrite-based low-density steel composite plate with crossed-laminated structure and its ballistic penetration characteristics
TL;DR: In this article , a ferrite-based low-density steel composite plate composed of A-side with density of about 7.15 g·cm−3 and B-side having density of approximately 7.10 g· cm−3 was fabricated using electroslag remelting followed by hot forging and the microstructure and properties of the composite plate and its ballistic penetration characteristics were investigated.

First-principles calculations and high thermoelectric performance of La–Nb doped SrTiO 3 ceramics
Yan Li,Qing Yu Hou,Xiao Huan Wang,Huijun Kang,Xinba Yaer,Jian-Bo Li,Tongmin Wang,Lei Miao,Jun Wang +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the doping ratio of heavy elements La and Nb was found to affect the electron band structure and controlled the formation of the TiO2 second phase, which affected the electrical transport and thermal transport properties.
