Mechanical and in vitro study of an isotropic Ti6Al4V lattice structure fabricated using selective laser melting
Xingchen Yan,Qing Li,Shuo Yin,Ziyu Chen,Richard Jenkins,Chaoyue Chen,Jiang Wang,Wenyou Ma,Rodolphe Bolot,Rocco Lupoi,Zhongming Ren,Hanlin Liao,Min Liu +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, a series of lattice structures with pore diameters of 500, 600, and 700μm and porosity of 60% and 70% were designed by repeating an octahedral unit cell.

Microstructure and mechanical deformation behavior of selective laser melted Ti6Al4V ELI alloy porous structures
Cheng Chang,Jian Huang,Xingchen Yan,Xingchen Yan,Qing Li,Min Liu,Sihao Deng,Julien Gardan,Rodolphe Bolot,Mahdi Chemkhi,Hanlin Liao +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the compressive properties and deformation behavior of selective laser melted (SLM) Ti6Al4V ELI porous structures were studied using phase composition and microstructure characteristics, a number of fine acicular a′ martensite (93.3%) and a bit β phase (6.6%) can be detected in SLM porous structures.

Effect of Initial Fe Content on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of Recycled Al-7.0Si-Fe-Mn Alloys with Constant Mn/Fe Ratio
TL;DR: In this article , the effect of initial Fe content on the iron removal efficiency, morphology evolution of the Fe-rich phase and the mechanical properties of the recycled Al-7Si-xFe-1.2xMn alloy during melt holding was studied using an optical microscope (OM), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and tensile testing.
