Nitrogen-doped mesoporous carbons for high performance supercapacitors
Kai Wu,Qiming Liu +1 more
TL;DR: The mesoporous carbons have been synthesized by using α-D(+)-Glucose, d-Glucosamine hydrochloride or their mixture as carbon precursors and mesophorous silicas (SBA-15 or MCF) as hard templates.

Shape-, size-, and density-tunable synthesis and optical properties of copper nanoparticles
Chenhuinan Wei,Qiming Liu +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a tunable shape (cube, hemisphere and agglomerate), size (42-146 nm) and density were synthesized on the ITO substrate by electrochemical deposition, and the important parameters including capping agent, Cu2+ concentration, applied potential and deposition time were chosen to determine the final morphology and composition of the nanoparticles.

Electrochemical deposition of layered copper thin films based on the diffusion limited aggregation.
TL;DR: A suitable growth mechanism based on diffusion limited aggregation (DLA) mechanism for the copper films formation is presented, which are meaningful for further designing homogeneous and functional films.
Hollow spheres of solid solution Fe7Ni3S11/CN as advanced anode materials for sodium ion batteries
TL;DR: In this paper, a bimetallic solid solution of Fe7Ni3S11 nanoparticles confined with nitrogen doped carbon (CN) was synthesized by simple one-pot hydrothermal method with post-annealing.
