Reconstruction of two-dimensional velocity distribution in scramjet by laser absorption spectroscopy tomography
TL;DR: A mathematic model is established to reveal the dependence of spectral absorbance on line-of-sight velocity distribution and the integrated absorbance coefficient distribution is reconstructed using the Landweber iteration algorithm and substituted into the nonlinear equation set for further simplification.

TL;DR: In this paper, an image reconstruction method based on multi-viewing-angle multi-spectral tomography (MVS tomography) was proposed, which consists of utilizing a plurality of pieces of absorption spectrum information corresponding to gas molecules so that a laser which can cover an absorption spectrum range passes through a measured gas region from a manifold of viewing angles.

Optimal selection of spectral lines for multispectral absorption tomography
TL;DR: A method to select the optimal combination of spectral lines from the candidate set for MAT by selecting the Gram determinant of selected spectral lines in given temperature interval as the cost function of the optimization problem, which can be maximized by enumerating all the possible combinations of the candidate spectral lines.

Three-dimensional laser absorption spectroscopy velocimetry for high-speed flow diagnosis
TL;DR: In this article, a laser absorption spectroscopy-based three-dimensional velocity measurement technique for non-uniform high-speed flow diagnosis is presented, which avoids the issues raised by adding solid particles, through utilizing the Doppler shifts of absorption lines induced by the interaction between multi-angled laser beams and the target molecules.

An empirical spectroscopic model for eleven electronic states of VO
TL;DR: In this paper , a rovibronic model for the X4Σ−, 12Φ and 12Π states of vanadium monoxide has been constructed based on the use of potential energy curves, represented as extended Morse oscillators, and couplings (spin-orbit, spin-spin, angular momentum), represented by polynomials, which are tuned to the data plus an empirical allowance for spin-rotation couplings.
