Creating an Artificial Tail Anchor as a Novel Strategy To Enhance the Potency of Peptide-Based HIV Fusion Inhibitors
Shan Su,Yun Zhu,Sheng Ye,Qianqian Qi,Shuai Xia,Zhenxuan Ma,Fei Yu,Qian Wang,Rongguang Zhang,Shibo Jiang,Shibo Jiang,Lu Lu +11 more
TL;DR: A shallow pocket adjacent to the groove in the N-terminal region of NHR trimer is identified and added a short artificial peptide consisting of three amino acids to the C terminus of a fusion inhibitor to fit this new target, resulting in enhanced inhibition of HIV-1 fusion with the target cell.

Long-term performance and microbial mechanism in intertidal wetland sediment introduced constructed wetlands treating saline wastewater
Ruiyuan Lv,Dini Wu,Jiewei Ding,Xunchao Yuan,Guoying Zhou,Yujia Zhang,Qiang Kong,Qiang Kong,Zhao Congcong,Du Yuanda,Fei Xu,Baoshan Wang,Qian Wang +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors explored intertidal wetland sediment (IWS) as an inoculation source for long-term operation in saline constructed wetlands (CWs) and found that IWS-introduced CWs achieved high levels of halophilic bacteria, denitrifying bacteria (Actinobacteria, Gammaproteobacteria), and anaerobic phosphate-accumulating organisms (PAOs) in the substrate.

Effect of High Order Phonon Scattering on the Thermal Conductivity and Its Response to Strain of a Penta-NiN2 Sheet.
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors studied the thermal transport properties of penta-NiN2 and found that the intrinsic lattice thermal conductivity is 11.67 W/mK at room temperature, which is reduced by 89.32% as compared to the value obtained by only considering threephonon scattering processes.
