Zero-strain strategy incorporating TaC with Ta2O5 to enhance its rate capacity for long-term lithium storage
TL;DR: In this paper , a zero-strain strategy was developed to composite Ta2O5 and TaC as an anode for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs), which can alleviate the volume variation of TaO5 when cycling, thereby enhancing the rate capacity and long-term cycling stability of the whole electrode.
SAR automatic target recognition using a hierarchical multi-feature fusion strategy
Zongjie Cao,Zongyong Cui,Yong Fan,Qi Zhang +3 more
- 01 Dec 2012
TL;DR: A hierarchical feature fusion strategy based on Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Dempster-Shafer Evidence Theory is proposed for SAR image automatic target recognition and demonstrates that the proposed strategy outperforms the system combining the outputs of three features directly.

Optimal optimal pilot length for uplink massive mimo systems with pilot reuse
Qi Zhang,Shi Jin,David Morales,Matthew R. McKay,Hongbo Zhu +4 more
- 21 Mar 2016
TL;DR: It is found that, for moderately large numbers of base station (BS) antennas, the optimal pilot length is above the minimum feasible value, and the gains brought by the extra amount of training diminish as the reuse factor grows.

Intelligent reflecting surface-assisted secrecy wireless communication with imperfect CSI
TL;DR: This article proposes an alternative optimization algorithm to design the beamforming vector and IRS phase shift matrix by employing the semi-relaxation, S -procedure, and difference-of-convex algorithm and verifies the convergence of the proposed algorithm and reveals the effects of the channel uncertainty, the number of antennas at eavesdropper, and theNumber of elements at IRS on the transmission power.
