Direct mass measurements of neutron-rich $^{86}$Kr projectile fragments and the persistence of neutron magic number $N$ = 32 in Sc isotopes
Xing Xu,Meng Wang,Yuhu Zhang,Hu-Shan Xu,Peng Shuai,Xiao-Lin Tu,Yuri A. Litvinov,Xiao-Hong Zhou,Bao-Hua Sun,You-Jin Yuan,Jiawen Xia,Jian-Cheng Yang,Klaus Blaum,R.J. Chen,Xiang-Cheng Chen,C. Y. Fu,Z. Ge,Hu Zhengguo,W. Huang,D.W. Liu,Y. H. Lam,Xinwen Ma,Ruishi Mao,Tomohiro Uesaka,Guo-ging Xiao,Yuan-Ming Xing,Takayuki Yamaguchi,Yoshitaka Yamaguchi,Qi Zeng,Xin-Liang Yan,Hongwei Zhao,Tie-cheneg Zhao,Wei Zhang,Wenlong Zhan +33 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present direct mass measurements of neutron-rich $86}$Kr projectile fragments conducted at the HIRFL-CSR facility in Lanzhou by employing the Isochronous Mass Spectrometry (IMS) method.

A data analysis method for isochronous mass spectrometry using two time-of-flight detectors at CSRe*
Xu Xing,Xu Xing,Ge Zhuang,Meng Wang,Shuai Peng,C. Y. Fu,Yan Xinliang,Zhang Yu-Hu,Sergey Litvinov,Yuan You-Jin,Xiao-Lin Tu,Xu Hu-Shan,Xiang-Cheng Chen,Zhou Xiao-Hong,R.J. Chen,D.W. Liu,Wen Ge,Yuan-Ming Xing,W. Huang,W. Huang,Qi Zeng,Wei Zhang,Yuri A. Litvinov,Hu Xue-Jing +23 more
TL;DR: In this article, a data analysis method for this mode is introduced and tested with a series of simulations, and the results show that the new IMS method can significantly improve mass resolving power via the additional velocity information of stored ions.

Charge resolution in the isochronous mass spectrometry and the mass of $$^{51}$$ 51 Co
Xu Zhou,Meng Wang,Yuhu Zhang,Hu-Shan Xu,You-Jin Yuan,Jian-Cheng Yang,Yu. A. Litvinov,Sergey Litvinov,B. Mei,B. Mei,Xin-Liang Yan,Xing Xu,Xing Xu,P. Shuai,Yuan-Ming Xing,R.J. Chen,Xiang-Cheng Chen,C. Y. Fu,Qi Zeng,Qi Zeng,M. Z. Sun,Hong-Fu Li,Qian Wang,T. Bao,Min Zhang,M. Si,M. Si,Han-Yu Deng,Ming-Zheng Liu,Ting Liao,Jin-Yang Shi,Yu-Nan Song +31 more
TL;DR: In this article, a sensitive Z-dependent parameter is introduced in the data analysis, leading to a better resolution of the mean revolution times of the ions with nearly the same mass-to-charge (m/q) ratios.

Electrostatic-lenses position-sensitive TOF MCP detector for beam diagnostics and new scheme for mass measurements at HIAF
un-hao Liu,Z. Ge,Qian Wang,Geng Wang,Li-Na Sheng,Wen-Wen Ge,Xing Xu,Peng Shuai,Qi Zeng,Bo Wu +9 more
TL;DR: A foil-microchannel plate (MCP) detector, which uses electrostatic lenses and possesses both good position and timing resolutions, has been designed and simulated for beam diagnostics and mass measurements at the next generation heavy-ion-beam facility HIAF in China as discussed by the authors.
