Cardamomin protects from diabetes-induced kidney damage through modulating PI3K/AKT and JAK/STAT signaling pathways in rats.
TL;DR: In this article , the function of cardamonin (CAD) in diabetes-induced kidney damage in rats was investigated, and the normal rat kidney tubular epithelial cells (NRK-52E) were pre-treated with different doses of CAD and then stimulated with methylglyoxal (MGO).

Protective role of relaxin in a mouse model of aristolochic acid nephropathy
TL;DR: Results suggest that RLX alleviates AA-I induced kidney fibrosis by reducing apoptosis and up-regulation the expression of p-Akt, and markedly reduced the overexpression of type IV collagen, fibronectin, and alpha-smooth muscle actin in AA-i treated mice.
Knockdown of circ_CDYL Contributes to Inhibit Angiotensin II–Induced Podocytes Apoptosis in Membranous Nephropathy via the miR-149-5p/TNFSF11 Pathway
TL;DR: It is confirmed that circ_CDYL specifically targeted miR-149-5p/TNFSF11 pathway to regulate Ang II–induced apoptosis in podocytes, which might be useful diagnostic biomarkers in MN.
