- 01 Jan 2013
TL;DR: In this paper, a reactive distillation column for the production of ethyl acetate is simulated using Aspen Plus and the component compositions and temperature at each stage of the column are predicted.

TL;DR: The present findings indicated that long‐term ZT in the rice–pulse system could be a unique source for efficient cellulose decomposing bacteria and further the efficient bacterial strains isolated from this system can be used as efficient bioinoculants for in situ as well as ex‐situ decomposition of rice straw particularly in conservation agriculture.

Development and evaluation of power operated weeder in rice.
TL;DR: In this paper, a power operated single row dry land weeder for inter row weeding was developed and evaluated in rice crop and compared with traditional methods of manual weeding, the power weeder consisted of engine, blades assembly and transmission system.

Long-Term Yield of Rice–Rice System with Different Nutrient Management in Eastern India: Effect of Air Temperature Variability in Dry Season
M Debnath,Rahul Tripathi,Sumanta Chatterjee,Shahid,B. Lal,Priyanka Gautam,NN Jambhulkar,Sangita Mohanty,Dibyendu Chatterjee,B. B. Panda,P.K. Nayak,Pratap Bhattacharyya,A. K. Shukla,Himansu Pathak,Amaresh Kumar Nayak +14 more
TL;DR: Negative effect of increased temperature during the reproductive and ripening stages on yield anomaly of dry season rice can be minimized by early planting and application of recommended dose of NPK and FYM.

Modelling the Spatial Variation of Methane and Nitrous Oxide Emission from Rice Fields Using DNDC Model
Rahul Tripathi,M. Majhi,S. G. Sahu,Santosh Ranjan Mohanty,K. C. Moharana,Shahid,C.K. Swain,B. Lal,Priyanka Gautam,P.K. Dash,Dibyendu Chatterjee,Ashok Kumar,Rojalin Tripathy,Bimal K. Bhattacharya,Arvind Kumar Shukla,Amaresh Kumar Nayak +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the denitrification and decomposition (DNDC) model was used for simulating the CH4 and N2O gas emissions from rice fields in Eastern India.
