Localization of repetitive DNA in the chromosomes of Microtus agrestis by means of in situ hybridization.
TL;DR: Heterochromatin in the European field vole, Microtus agrestis, was studied using a special staining technique and DNA/RNA in situ hybridization technique and repeated nucleotide sequences are shown to be in the heterochromeatin of the sex chromosomes.

Inhibition of inosinate dehydrogenase by metabolites of 2-β-D-ribofuranosylthiazole-4-car☐amide
TL;DR: Adding 2-β-D-ribofuranosyl-thiazole-4-car☐amide to Chinese hamster ovary cells in culture drastically reduced the level of IMP dehydrogenase activity in the cell sonicate, and this inhibition was found to be a potent inhibitor of IMP-dehydrogenase.

Studies of the mechanism of action of the antitumor agent 5(4)-(3,3-dimethyl-1-triazeno) imidazole-4(5)-carboxamide in Bacillus subtilis.
TL;DR: Investigation of the effect of 5(4)-(3,3-dimethyl-1-triazeno) imidazole-4(5)-carboxamide on Bacillus subtilis indicated that the drug slightly stimulated DNA, RNA and protein synthesis at low concentrations and inhibited DNA synthesis at higher levels.
