Inhalation exposure to various nanoparticles in work environment—contextual information and results of measurements
Przemysław Oberbek,Paweł Kozikowski,Katarzyna Czarnecka,Piotr Sobiech,Szymon Jakubiak,Tomasz Jankowski +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present the results of harmonized measurements with contextual information on the emission of nanoparticles during the manufacturing and application of nanotechnology products in real working conditions in chosen Polish companies.
Filtration of Submicron Soot Particles, Oil Droplets, and their Mixtures on Single- and Multi-layer Fibrous Filters
Mateusz Kamiński,Jakub M. Gac,Piotr Sobiech,Pawel Kozikowski,Szymon Jakubiak,Tomasz Jankowski +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the dynamics of filtration efficiency and pressure drop during the simultaneous filtering of soot and oil aerosols on single and multi-layer filters.
Filtration of aerosols containing graphite nanoparticles or their mixture with water droplets on single and multi-layer fibrous filters
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the influence of water droplets in feed gas on filtration efficiency, pressure drop as well as the form and shape of collected deposits collected on filter.

Vitamin D Supplementation, Characteristics of Mastication, and Parent-Supervised Toothbrushing as Crucial Factors in the Prevention of Caries in 12- to 36-Month-Old Children
Piotr Sobiech,Dorota Olczak-Kowalczyk,Marie Therese Hosey,Dariusz Gozdowski,Anna Turska-Szybka +4 more
TL;DR: Vitamin D supplementation, mastication of resilient food, breastfeeding in the first six months of a baby’s life, and parent-supervised toothbrushing are factors in the prevention of caries in toddlers.
The Influence of Air Humidity on the Output Signal from an Ionization Smoke Detector in the Presence of Soot Nanoparticles
TL;DR: In this article , a smoke detector with an ionization sensor was tested in controlled laboratory conditions, and the results confirmed that the ionization detector could be used to measure the concentrations of nanoaerosols.
