Design of a CW linac for the Compact Intense Fast NEutron Facility
Hang Li,Zhijie Wang,Yuanrong Lu,Q.Y. Tan,M. J. Easton,Kun Zhu,Z.Y. Guo,Pingping Gan,Shuai Liu +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a novel compact linac using a combination of RFQ and DTL structures to accelerate deuteron (D + ), hydrogen (H 2 + ) and lithium (7Li 3 + ) beams to 2.5 MeV/u with maximum beam currents of 10 µm, 5 µm and 10 uA, respectively.

Beam dynamics design and irradiation experiment of beam loss for a CW 100-mA proton RFQ
Qi Fu,Fangjian Jia,Pingping Gan,Kun Zhu,Zhi Wang,M. J. Easton,Yuanrong Lu,Yuan He,Zhijun Wang +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the relationship between limiting current and beam transmission to analyze the reasons for emittance growth and beam loss in high-current Radio Frequency Quadrupole (RFQ) accelerator.

Spectral Diagnostics of Argon Plasma in a 10mm Aperture Plasma Window
Pingping Gan,Sheng Huang,Yuanrong Lu,Shaoze Wang,Zhong Yuan,Kun Zhu +5 more
- 01 May 2017
TL;DR: Zhang et al. as mentioned in this paper measured the electron temperature and density of the plasma via argon spectral diagnostics, and analyzed the conditions to satisfy the criterion of local thermal equilibrium (L.T.E).

HTS-Coated Beam Screen for SPPC Bending Magnets
Pingping Gan,Qi Fu,Haipeng Li,Yudong Liu,Yuanrong Lu,Jingyu Tang,Qingjin Xu,Kun Zhu +7 more
- 01 May 2017
TL;DR: In this paper, a high temperature superconductor (HTS) coated beam screen operating in liquid nitrogen temperature area is proposed and the feasibility of HTS-coated beam screen is demonstrated by steady-state thermal analysis.
