Regulation of T cell differentiation and function by epigenetic modification enzymes
Huicheng Liu,Pingfei Li,Pingfei Li,Zhengping Wei,Cai Zhang,Minghui Xia,Qiuyang Du,Yufei Chen,Na Liu,Huabin Li,Xiang-Ping Yang +10 more
TL;DR: The current literature about the functions of DNA and histone modification enzymes in T cell development, activation, differentiation, and function is reviewed.

α-Lactose Improves the Survival of Septic Mice by Blockade of TIM-3 Signaling to Prevent NKT Cell Apoptosis and Attenuate Cytokine Storm.
Yao Yao,Hai Deng,Pingfei Li,Jian Zhang,Junbo Zhang,Deping Wang,Songbo Li,Yixing Luo,Zhengping Wei,Guoyu Bi,Xiang-Ping Yang,Zhao-Hui Tang +11 more
TL;DR: It is shown that T-cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain 3 (Tim-3) expression in NKT cells is elevated in experimental mice during sepsis, and administration of &agr;-lactose to block Tim-3 signaling pathway significantly improved the survival of septic mice and could be a promising immunomodulatory agent in the treatment of sepsi.

DAPK1 (death associated protein kinase 1) mediates mTORC1 activation and antiviral activities in CD8+ T cells.
Zhengping Wei,Pingfei Li,Pingfei Li,Ran He,Huicheng Liu,Na Liu,Yu Xia,Guoyu Bi,Qiuyang Du,Minghui Xia,Lei Pei,Jing Wang,Guihua Wang,Zhaohui Tang,Xiang Cheng,Huabin Li,Zhuoya Li,Lilin Ye,Arian Laurence,Youming Lu,Xiang-Ping Yang +20 more
TL;DR: Both the kinase domain and death domain of DAPK1 are required for CD8 + T-cell antiviral responses in an LCMV infection model and reveal a novel mechanism of mTORC1 activation that mediates optimal CD8+T-cell function and antiviral activity.

ATP6V0d2 mediates leucine-induced mTORC1 activation and polarization of macrophages.
Pingfei Li,Xiaofei Deng,Jing Luo,Jing Luo,Yufei Chen,Guoyu Bi,Feili Gong,Zhengping Wei,Na Liu,Huabin Li,Arian Laurence,Xiang-Ping Yang +11 more
TL;DR: The restricted expression of ATP6V0d2 and its localization in lysosome membrane, whose expression is restricted in macrophages and inhibited by inflammatory stimuli and tumor cell-derived lactate, was speculated to play a role in amino acid-mediated mTORC1 activation in Macrophages.
Alpha-lactose reverses liver injury via blockade of Tim-3-mediated CD8 apoptosis in sepsis
Zhengping Wei,Pingfei Li,Yao Yao,Hai Deng,Shengwu Yi,Cong Zhang,Han Wu,Xiuxiu Xie,Minghui Xia,Ran He,Xiang-Ping Yang,Zhaohui Tang +11 more
TL;DR: It is found that Tim-3 is highly up-regulated in liver CD8+ T cells in a mouse cecal ligation and puncture model and in peripheral blood CD8- T cells of human patients with sepsis.
