Seismic performance evaluation of typical dampers designed by Chinese Code subjected to the main shock-aftershocks
TL;DR: Using the incremental dynamic analysis and fragility analysis, the seismic performance of five types of dampers designed by the Chinese code under the main shock-aftershock sequences are compared from the respective of structural collapse, damage and the equipment's acceleration failure.

A novel system identification method for servo-hydraulic shaking table using physics-guided long short-term memory network
Wei Guo,Chongjian He,Ping Shao +2 more
TL;DR: In this article , a physics-guided long short-term memory (PhyLSTM) network is proposed for system identification of the shaking table, which embeds the physical laws describing the system into the network, which can prompt the model to converge quickly to the right solution and constrain the output to a rational solution space in the case of poor data quality.

Performance study of model predictive control with reference prediction for real-time hybrid simulation
Chen Zeng,Wei Guo,Ping Shao +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper , an improved tracking controller based on MPC controller combined with a polynomial-based forward reference prediction (MPC-RP) is proposed according to the principle of providing future data insight.

Application of Model Predictive Control on Real-Time Hybrid Simulation
Ping Shao,Wei Guo,Chen Zeng +2 more
TL;DR: In this article , the optimal model-based control algorithm named model predictive control (MPC) is adopted to compensate the time delay of the hydraulic shake table control system for real-time hybrid simulation (RTHS).
