N-Ethylmaleimide-sensitive Fusion Protein Contains High and Low Affinity ATP-binding Sites That Are Functionally Distinct
TL;DR: Nucleotide concentration greatly affected the ability of NSF to interact with α-SNAP·SNARE (soluble NSF attachment protein- SNAP receptor) complex, suggesting that only when the D1 domain ATP-binding sites are occupied does NSF bind to the α- SNPARE complex.

TL;DR: The Snap23 gene was mapped to mouse chromosome 5, demonstrating it cannot encode the gm gene, which maps to chromosome 14, and it is likely therefore that the g m gene functions upstream of SNAP-23 in vesicular trafficking.

Gaf-1, a γ-SNAP-binding Protein Associated with the Mitochondria
TL;DR: A two-hybrid screen was used to identify new, γ-SNAP-binding proteins and to uncover potentially novel functions for γ -SNAP, pointing to a potential role for the ubiquitously expressed protein in mitochondrial dynamics.

Screening, ACE-inhibitory mechanism and structure-activity relationship of a novel ACE-inhibitory peptide from Lepidium meyenii (Maca) protein hydrolysate
TL;DR: In this paper , six ACEI peptides (RSRGVFF, LGHPVFRNK, HGSCNYR, KANLGFRF, GGGHKRLY and SSYLGRN) were found in maca protein hydrolysates using in silico tools and molecular docking.

Isolation, identification of antioxidant peptides from earthworm proteins and analysis of the structure-activity relationship of the peptides based on quantum chemical calculations.
TL;DR: A new understanding of substance basis of antioxidant activity in earthworms is provided and contributes to application of earthworm proteins as antioxidants in health-foods.
