Mammographic and sonographic findings in the diagnosis of idiopathic granulomatous mastitis
TL;DR: If a focal asymmetric density is seen in mammography and inhomogeneous hypoechogenity with internal hypoechoic tubular structures accompany ultrasonographically, these findings should suggest the possibility of idiopathic granulomatous mastitis; however, very often idiopathy granulmatousmastitis mimics a breast carcinoma clinically and the final diagnosis should be reached histopatologically due to high false-positive and false-negative mammographic appearances.

Differentiation between Phyllodes Tumors and Fibroadenomas Based on Mammographic Sonographic and MRI Features
Lale Duman,Naciye Sinem Gezer,Pinar Balci,Canan Altay,Isil Basara,Merih Güray Durak,Ali İbrahim Sevinç +6 more
TL;DR: M mammographic, sonographic, and MRI findings of fibroadenomas and phyllodes tumors could help radiologists to ascertain imaging-histological concordance and guide clinicians in their decision making regarding adequate follow-up or the necessity of biopsy.
Breast mass contour segmentation algorithm in digital mammograms
TL;DR: A new segmentation algorithm, breast mass contour segmentation, based on classical seed region growing algorithm to enhance contour of a mass from a given region of interest with ability to adjust threshold value adaptively is introduced.

COVID-19 S: A new proposal for diagnosis and structured reporting of COVID-19 on computed tomography imaging.
Naciye Sinem Gezer,Begüm Ergan,Mustafa Baris,Özgür Appak,Ayça Arzu Sayıner,Pinar Balci,Ziya Kuruüzüm,Sema Alp Çavuş,Oguz Kilinc +8 more
TL;DR: COVID-19 S CT classification system may meet the needs of radiologists in distinguishing CO VID-19 from pneumonia of other etiologies and help optimize patient management and disease control in this pandemic by the use of structured reporting.
Fibroadenomas: a multidisciplinary review of the variants.
Isil Basara Akin,Pinar Balci +1 more
TL;DR: This work presents imaging findings of SFAs and other variants of fibroadenomas, which have different clinical behaviours, potential for malignant transformation, and treatment strategies.
