Benjamin Gory,Jérôme Berge,Alain Bonafe,Laurent Pierot,Laurent Spelle,Michel Piotin,Alessandra Biondi,Christophe Cognard,Charbel Mounayer,Nader Sourour,Charlotte Barbier,Hubert Desal,Denis Herbreteau,Emmanuel Chabert,Hervé Brunel,Frédéric Ricolfi,René Anxionnat,Evelyne Decullier,Laure Huot,Francis Turjman,Xavier Barreau,Patrice Menegon,Gaultier Marnat,Vincent Costalat,Gregory Gascou,Cyril Dargazanli,Sébastien Soize,Georges Metaxas,Jacques Moret,Léon Ikka,Jildaz Caroff,Aymeric Rouchaud,Christian Mihaela,Nidal Benachour,Raphaël Blanc,Hocine Redjem,Elisa Pomero,Anne Christine Januel,Julien Darcout,Adrien Guenego,Philippe Tall,Fabrice Bonneville,Suzana Saleme,Frédéric Clarençon,Romain Bourcier,Ana Paula Narata,R. Bibi,Serge Bracard,Anne-Laure Derelle,Romain Tonnelet,Liang Liao,Zsolt Kulcsar,Christian Taschner +52 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors did a nationwide prospective study to investigate the safety and effectiveness of flow diversion at 12 months, defined as the occurrence of morbidity (intracranial hemorrhage, ischemic stroke, noncerebral hemorrhage or neurological deficit due to mass effect), retreatment, or death within 12 months post-treatment.

Flow diversion treatment of complex bifurcation aneurysms beyond the circle of Willis: complications, aneurysm sac occlusion, reabsorption, recurrence, and jailed branch modification at follow-up.
Caterina Michelozzi,Jean Darcourt,Adrien Guenego,Anne-Christine Januel,Philippe Tall,Matthias Gawlitza,Fabrice Bonneville,Christophe Cognard +7 more
TL;DR: Flow diversion of bifurcation aneurysms is feasible, with low rates of permanent morbidity and mortality and high occlusion rates; however, recurrence may occur.
Rare Coding Variants in ANGPTL6 Are Associated with Familial Forms of Intracranial Aneurysm.

Labeyrie,Christophe Vandendries,Emmanuel Houdart,Appoline Kazemi,Xavier Leclerc,Jean Pierre Pruvo,Sophie Gallas,Stéphane Velasco,Gervaise Loirand,Richard Redon +100 more
TL;DR: The results indicate that rare coding variants in ANGPTL6 are causally related to familial forms of IA, and a higher rate of individuals with a history of high blood pressure among affected versus healthy individuals carrying Angiopoietin-Like 6 variants is observed, suggesting that ANGPTl6 could trigger cerebrovascular lesions when combined with other risk factors such as hypertension.

Absence of susceptibility vessel sign is associated with aspiration-resistant fibrin/platelet-rich thrombi:
Jean Darcourt,Cédric Garcia,Do M Phuong,Caterina Michelozzi,Guillaume Bellanger,Gilles Adam,Margaux Roques,Anne Christine Januel,Philippe Tall,Jean François Albucher,Jean Marc Olivot,Fabrice Bonneville,Bernard Payrastre,Christophe Cognard +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the composition of the thrombus influences its retrievability by mechanical thrombectomy, and the authors report on thrombi resistant to aspiration, regarding susceptibility to aspiration.

Delayed Medullar Syndrome after Aneurysmal Subarachnoid Haemorrhage. A Case report of Cystic Arachnoiditis
TL;DR: A case of chronic spinal cystic arachnoidsitis after subarachnoid haemorrhage in a 54-year-old woman with a ruptured vertebral artery aneurysm treated by coils is described.
