Probabilistic climate change scenarios for viticultural potential in Québec
Philippe Roy,Patrick Grenier,Evelyne Barriault,Travis Logan,Anne Blondlot,Gaétan Bourgeois,Diane Chaumont +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, climate conditions for Quebec viticultural potential during upcoming decades are estimated through high-resolution probabilistic climate scenarios (PCS) based on a large ensemble of simulations from the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 5 (CMIP5).
Climate scenarios of extreme precipitation using a combination of parametric and non-parametric bias correction methods in the province of Québec
TL;DR: In this article , a new mixed method was proposed for post-processing the entire range of precipitation, including heavy precipitation, using a non-parametric quantile-quantile mapping procedure for the bulk distribution and a parametric procedure based on extreme value theory for the right tail.
