Evaluation of complications and prognostic factors associated with administration of total parenteral nutrition in cats: 75 cases (1994–2001)
TL;DR: Results indicated high mortality rate in cats maintained on TPN that had multiple concurrent diseases associated with a poor prognosis, including a history of weight loss, hyperglycemia at 24 hours following TPN administration, hypoalbuminemia, and chronic renal failure.

TL;DR: Peribulbar injection produced notable anesthesia more reliably than did retrobulbar injection, and both techniques may produce adverse effects, although the uveitis/ulcer could have resulted from the contrast agent used.

TL;DR: Indices of diastolic function in cats with HCM, and in many cats with UCM, differed from those of healthy cats and were similar to those reported in humans with H CM and restrictive cardiomyopathy, respectively.
