Hydrothermal Fluid Evolution within the Cadillac Tectonic Zone, Abitibi Greenstone Belt, Canada: Relationship to Auriferous Fluids in Adjacent Second- and Third-Order Shear Zones
Peter Neumayr,Steffen Hagemann +1 more
TL;DR: The Cadillac tectonic zone in the Abitibiabibi greenstone belt, Canada, is spatially associated with world-class gold deposits that are hosted in second-and third-order faults as mentioned in this paper.

Timing of gold mineralization in the Mt York district, Pilgangoora greenstone belt, and implications for the tectonic and metamorphic evolution of an area linking the western and eastern Pilbara Craton
Peter Neumayr,J.R. Ridley,J.R. Ridley,Neal J. McNaughton,Peter D. Kinny,Mark Barley,David I. Groves +6 more
TL;DR: The main Hill and Zakanaka mines in the Pilbara greenstone belt of Western Australia have been investigated in this article, showing that gold mineralization occurred synchronously with the peak of amphibolite-facies metamorphism in both deposits.

Fluid chemistry and evolution of hydrothermal fluids in an Archaean transcrustal fault zone network: the case of the Cadillac Tectonic Zone, Abitibi greenstone belt, Canada
Peter Neumayr,Steffen Hagemann,David Banks,Bruce W. D. Yardley,J.-F. Couture,Gary P. Landis,Robert O. Rye +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, fluid geochemistry studies on hydrothermal quartz veins from the Rouyn-Noranda and Val-d'Or areas along the transcrustal Cadillac Tectonic Zone (CTZ) indicate that unmineralized (with respect to gold) sections of the CTZ contained a distinct CO2-dominated, H2S-poor fluid.
