Investigation of microwave assisted drying of samples and evaporation of aqueous solutions in trace element analysis.
TL;DR: Investigations of microwave assisted drying of sample materials and microwave assisted evaporation of aqueous sample solutions and acidic digestion residues were accomplished by means of special rotors for the microwave digestion system MULTIWAVE and results agree well with conventional drying at 105 °C.

Closed vessel microwave-assisted wet digestion with simultaneous control of pressure and temperature in all vessels
TL;DR: In this article, a microwave-assisted wet digestion in closed vessels is described, where six pressure vessels made of quartz or Hostaflon® TFM are placed in a special rotor in a microwave oven.

Patent
Device for acid-decomposition of a substance for elementary analysis under controlled pressure in a microwave field
Andreas Ing Schalk,Peter Kettisch +1 more
- 15 Jun 1989
TL;DR: In this paper, a measurement-value pick-up is used to detect the position of a pin 19 in a decomposition vessel acting on a rod having a central orifice in the cap.

Patent
Sealing device for microwave treatment vessel
Peter Kettisch,Andreas Ing Schalk +1 more
- 15 Jan 1993
TL;DR: In this article, a closed vessel made of a material which is microwave transparent is used to heat substances under pressure in a microwave field, where the inner wall of the vessel is held in place by a spring.

Patent
Device for monitoring the pressure in several analysis vessels
Andreas Ing Schalk,Peter Kettisch,Johannes Zach,Helmut Sinabell +3 more
- 10 Apr 1995
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a device for monitoring the pressure in at least two pressure-tight analysis vessels, that have been sealed by means of lids, whereby heat is supplied to the analysis vessels via a heating apparatus.
