An implicit high-order k-exact finite-volume approach on vertex-centered unstructured grids for incompressible flows
TL;DR: A k-exact reconstruction method is presented, which can be incorporated into vertex-centered unstructured finite-volume flow solvers to maintain a high-order accurate solution in space and it is shown, that a third order of accuracy can be maintained for the discretization of convective fluxes and a second orders of accuracy for diffusive fluxes, even on highly distorted grids.

TL;DR: In this paper, a non-piloted, non-premixed hydrogen-air ame is modeled using a TPDF/LES (Large-Eddy-Simulation) model and applied in RANS (Reynolds-Averaged-Navier Stokes) calculations.

TL;DR: Performance benchmarks confirmed that the artificial neural network approaches are superior to direct source term integration in terms of computational costs and a priori comparison with direct integration proved the ability of both methods to give accurate results even for minor species.
