Phase-Separation-Induced PVDF/Graphene Coating on Fabrics toward Flexible Piezoelectric Sensors.
Tao Huang,Siwei Yang,Peng He,Jing Sun,Shuai Zhang,Dongdong Li,Yan Meng,Jiushun Zhou,Huixia Tang,Junrui Liang,Guqiao Ding,Xiaoming Xie +11 more
TL;DR: A phase-separation approach to fabricate flexible piezoelectric sensors based on poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF)/graphene composite coating on commercially available fabrics with excellent flexibility with high sensitivity and low detecting threshold is reported.

Processable Aqueous Dispersions of Graphene Stabilized by Graphene Quantum Dots
TL;DR: In this article, using GQDs as stabilizer, aqueous dispersions of graphene with good stability were demonstrated by directly dispersing commercialized graphene powder into water, and the mechanism of the GQD stabilized graphene in water was proposed and experimentally verified through UV-visible spectroscopy and zeta potential measurements.

Electrochemical Cutting in Weak Aqueous Electrolytes: The Strategy for Efficient and Controllable Preparation of Graphene Quantum Dots.
Haoguang Huang,Siwei Yang,Qingtian Li,Yucheng Yang,Yucheng Yang,Gang Wang,Xiaofei You,Baohua Mao,Wang Huishan,Ma Yu,Peng He,Zhi Liu,Zhi Liu,Guqiao Ding,Xiaoming Xie,Xiaoming Xie +15 more
TL;DR: A weak electrolyte-based electrochemical method is developed to enhance the oxidation and cutting process and therefore achieve a high yield of GQDs and shows excellent crystallinity which is obviously better than the crystallinity obtained via bottom-up approaches.

Urea-assisted aqueous exfoliation of graphite for obtaining high-quality graphene.
Peng He,Chao Zhou,Suyun Tian,Jing Sun,Siwei Yang,Guqiao Ding,Xiaoming Xie,Xiaoming Xie,Mianheng Jiang,Mianheng Jiang +9 more
TL;DR: The mechanism in which a primary amine facilitates aqueous exfoliation was proposed and experimentally validated, which may inspire new strategies for efficient liquid exfolation.
