An intrinsically non-flammable organic electrolyte for wide temperature range supercapacitors
Shao Hui Li,Qing Wu Tian,Jingwei Chen,Yining Chen,Peng Guo,Cong Wei,Peng Cui,Jing-yi Jiang,Xiaomeng Li,Qun Xu +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a non-flammable triethyl phosphate (TEP)-based binary electrolyte was investigated by the Raman spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopic (FTIR), and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and the result demonstrated that the hydrogen bonding in EMIMBF4 ion pairs were effectively broken/weakened by TEP, endowing improved ionic conductivity and reduced viscosity.

Trace tea polyphenols enabling reversible dendrite-free zinc anode.
TL;DR: In this paper , trace tea polyphenols (TP) were introduced as additive of zinc acetate electrolyte to protect zinc anode from corrosion invasion and boost uniform zinc deposition.

3D printing of the multifunctional fixed-bed reactor and matched 3D-CeO2/ATP monolithic adsorbent for adsorption desulfurization
Jie Zhu,Jiangtao Yu,Peiwen Wu,Jixing Liu,Haiyan Ji,Peng Cui,Yanhong Chao,Wenshuai Zhu,Haiyan Liu,Zhichang Liu +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the 3D-CeO2/ATP monolithic adsorbents were successfully constructed through a 3D printing strategy, possessing superior adsorption desulfurization performance of more than 85 % sulfur removal under optimized reaction conditions at room temperature.

Microporous boron nitride-based porous ionic liquid for enhanced extractive desulfurization of fuel
Lianwen He,Jing He,Peng Cui,Yuting Feng,Mingqing Hua,Jinrui Zhang,Peiwen Wu,Wenshuai Zhu,Huaming Li,Zhichang Liu,Chunming Xu +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a new type of porous ionic liquid (m-BN-PIL) was engineered by employing butylpyridinium tetrachloroferrate ([BPy][FeCl4]) as an organic guest and microporous boron nitride (mBN) as the porous framework.

Selective adsorption of ethane over ethylene through a metal–organic framework bearing dense alkyl groups
TL;DR: Li et al. as mentioned in this paper developed a MOF-based adsorbent with dense alkyl groups to improve the adsorption affinity of C2H6 for purification.
