Delivery of RIPK4 small interfering RNA for bladder cancer therapy using natural halloysite nanotubes
Jianye Liu,Yi Zhang,Zeng Qinghai,Hongliang Zeng,Xiao Ming Liu,Pei Wu,Hongyi Xie,Leye He,Zhi Long,Xiaoyong Lu,Mengqing Xiao,Yuxing Zhu,Hao Bo,Cao Ke +13 more
TL;DR: It is revealed that natural halloysite nanotube–assisted delivery of an active small interfering RNA (siRNA) targeting receptor-interacting protein kinase 4 (RIPK4) efficiently silenced its expression to treat bladder cancer.

SLC12A5 interacts and enhances SOX18 activity to promote bladder urothelial carcinoma progression via upregulating MMP7.
Long Wang,Qun Zhang,Pei Wu,Wei Xiang,Dan Xie,Ning Wang,Minhua Deng,Ke Cao,Hongliang Zeng,Zhenzhou Xu,Xiaoming Liu,Leye He,Zhi Long,Jing Tan,Jinrong Wang,Bin Liu,Jianye Liu +16 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that SLC12A5 interacted with SOX18, and then upregulated MMP7, thus enhancing tumor progression, and provided an effective therapeutic approach against bladder urothelial carcinoma.
Fe-doped chrysotile nanotubes containing siRNAs to silence SPAG5 to treat bladder cancer
Jianye Liu,Yi Zhang,Hongliang Zeng,Long Wang,Qun Zhang,Pei Wu,Xiaoming Liu,Hongyi Xie,Wei Xiang,Biao Liu,Jiahao Liu,Xuewen Liu,Jianfei Xie,Jin Tang,Zhi Long,Leye He,Mengqing Xiao,Liang Xiang,Ke Cao +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, Fe-doped chrysotile nanotubes (FeSiNTs) with a relatively uniform outer diameter (15-25-nm) and inner diameter (7-8 nm) and a length of several hundred nanometers were used to deliver an siRNA against the SPAG5 oncogene (siSPAG5) efficiently.
