90Sr, 137Cs and 239,240Pu concentration surface water time series in the Pacific and Indian Oceans - WOMARS results
Pavel P. Povinec,Asker Aarkrog,Ken O. Buesseler,Roberta Delfanti,Katsumi Hirose,Gi Hoon Hong,Toshimichi Ito,Hugh D. Livingston,Hartmut Nies,Victor E. Noshkin,Shigeki Shima,Orihiko Togawa +11 more
TL;DR: The estimated surface water concentrations of 90Sr, 137Cs and (239,240)Pu in latitudinal belts of the Pacific and Indian Oceans for the year 2000 may be used as the average levels so that any new contribution from nuclear facilities, nuclear weapons test sites, radioactive waste dumping sites and from possible nuclear accidents can be identified.
Monte Carlo simulation of background characteristics of gamma-ray spectrometers : a comparison with experiment
TL;DR: In this article, Monte Carlo simulation of background characteristics of gamma-ray spectrometers has been discussed, and the development of a simulation code for background induction by cosmic rays is useful for optimization of a counting system in respect to its background characteristics.
Radiocarbon and 137Cs dating of wines.
TL;DR: A new method was developed for simultaneous 14C and 137Cs dating of wines, which helped to distinguish wines originating before or after the bomb peak, and the δ13C values also helped to solve the 14C age ambiguity indating of wines around the 13C bomb peak.

TL;DR: Gamow-Teller (GT) strength distributions have been investigated in a high-resolution charge-exchange experiment on the double-$\ensuremath{\beta}$ ($\enuremath{β}µ ) decaying nuclei in this article.
