Life cycle assessment of prospective trajectories: A parametric approach for tailor‐made inventories and its computational implementation
Mélanie Douziech,Romain Besseau,Raphael Jolivet,Bianka Shoai-Tehrani,J.-Y. Bourmaud,Guillaume Busato,Mathilde Gresset‐Bourgeois,Paula Perez-Lopez +7 more
TL;DR: The parameterized models developed within this work are available on a Git together with published reference datasets for comparison, so that the method can be adapted to evaluate similar energy trajectories for other countries or regions.

Combining region-specific supply chains with geo-located PV electricity production for Life Cycle Assessment of worldwide crystalline silicon photovoltaic systems in ENVI-PV 2.0
Paula Perez-Lopez,Benoît Gschwind,Rolf Frischknecht,Philippe Stolz,Céline Mehl,Marie Payeur,Garvin Heath,Isabelle Blanc +7 more
- 08 Sep 2019
TL;DR: The online tool presented here consists of an improved version of the Web service ENVI-PV, developed in the framework of Task 12 of the International Energy Agency Photovoltaic Power Systems Program, and adds a new feature to allow the evaluation of dependencies of environmental results on the manufacturing region of crystalline silicon photvoltaic modules.

Accounting for the Temporal Fluctuation of Wind Power Production When Assessing Their Environmental Impacts with LCA: Combining Wind Power with Power-to-Gas in Denmark
Romain Besseau,Milien Dhorne,Paula Perez-Lopez,Isabelle Blanc +3 more
- 01 Jan 2022
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present the environmental life cycle performance of wind power accounting for the energy storage induced by the temporal variability of weather-dependent production and consumption, and highlight an increase, roughly by a factor 2, of the carbon footprint coming from both energy storage infrastructure and induced losses, but remain significantly, at least ten times lower than fossil counterparts.
Global sensitivity analysis in LCA of emerging technologies: Accounting for inputs’ variability
Paula Perez-Lopez,Martino Lacirignola,Robin Girard,Philippe Blanc,Isabelle Blanc +4 more
- 07 May 2017
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a protocol to evaluate the effect of the choices in the selection of inputs' distribution functions on Global Sensitivity Analysis (GSA) results and provide recommendations for LCA practitioners.

LCA_WIND_DK: temporally, geographically and technologically-sensitive life cycle inventories for the Danish wind turbine fleet
Romain Besseau,Romain Sacchi,Paula Perez-Lopez,Isabelle Blanc +3 more
- 13 May 2018
TL;DR: The LCA_WIND_DK tool as discussed by the authors provides an on-line tool that provides the environmental footprint of Danish wind turbines based on systematic individual cradle-to-grave life cycle inventories using manufacturer's data.
