Time evolution of coherent ground-state correlations and the TDHF approach
TL;DR: In this article, a generalized time-dependent generator coordinate (TDGCM) variational formulation is proposed to describe RPA-like correlations on top of a timedependent mean field, which correspond to the zero point oscillations of collective modes orthogonal to the TDHF trajectory.
Pairing and deformation effects in nuclear excitation spectra
TL;DR: In this article, the role of the particle-particle (pp) channel in the residual interaction of QRPA was investigated and the effect of deformation splitting in the various resonances was investigated.
Sensitivity of the fusion cross section to the density dependence of the symmetry energy
Paul-Gerhard Reinhard,Ahmad Umar,Paul Stevenson,Jorge Piekarewicz,Volker Oberacker,J. A. Maruhn +5 more
TL;DR: Balantekin et al. as mentioned in this paper employed three different approaches to calculate fusion cross sections for a set of energy density functionals with systematically varying nuclear matter properties, using a dynamic microscopic method based on density-constrained time-dependent Hartree-Fock (DC-TDHF) approach, as well as direct TDHF study of above barrier cross sections.
On stochastic approaches of nuclear dynamics
TL;DR: In this paper, the Boltzmann Langevin Equation (BLE) is used to describe the dynamics of nuclear particle de-excitation by thermal fission in the presence of particle evaporation.
