TL;DR: No significant difference was noted in the rate of esophageal inflammation at any level (mild, moderate, or severe) between test and control groups, and it was demonstrated that the true association between H. pylori infection and GERD is far from being clear.

TL;DR: A higher degree of esophageal fibrosis was found in patients with EoE compared to GERD or normal esophagus, and conventional therapy improved obstructive symptoms, decreased eosinophils count, and reversed the degree of fibrosis.
