Inducible dissociation of SCFMet30 ubiquitin ligase mediates a rapid transcriptional response to cadmium
Régine Barbey,Peggy Baudouin-Cornu,Peggy Baudouin-Cornu,Traci A Lee,Astrid Rouillon,Patrick Zarzov,Mike Tyers,Dominique Thomas +7 more
TL;DR: It is shown that the heavy metal Cd2+ over‐rides both mechanisms to enable rapid Met4‐dependent induction of metabolic networks needed for production of the antioxidant and C d2+‐chelating agent glutathione.
G1/S CDK is inhibited to restrain mitotic onset when DNA replication is blocked in fission yeast
TL;DR: Tyr15 phosphorylation of G1/S CDK complexes is important in the checkpoint control blocking mitotic onset when DNA replication is inhibited and operates through activation of the normal G2/M CDK complex Cdc13/Cdc2.

1,2,4-thiadiazole derivatives antifungal compounds, compositions containing said compounds and the use thereof
Barbey Sabine,Patrick Zarzov,Jean-François Briand,Bougeret Cecile,Dominique Thomas +4 more
- 27 Jul 2006
TL;DR: In this article, novel antifungal compounds of formula (I) were proposed for using in human medicine and veterinary science containing the compound of formula, wherein x is a group selected from SO- and SO2-.

Method for screening for agents that modulate the activity of the mdm2 ubiquitin ligase and means for implementing said method
Cécile Bougeret,Jean-François Briand,Patrick Zarzov,Dominique Thomas +3 more
- 09 Dec 2008
TL;DR: In this paper, an in cellulo method for screening for agents that modulate the activity of the Mdm2 ubiquitin ligase was proposed, in which a candidate test agent was brought into contact with recombinant yeast cells which expressed, in the nucleus thereof, a fusion protein comprising: (i) a polypeptide MDM2 and (ii) at least one detectable protein.

Method for screening agents modulating a lkb$g(a) protein ubiquitination and means for carrying out said method
Bougeret Cecile,Patrick Zarzov,Jean-François Briand,Dominique Thomas +3 more
- 15 Mar 2005
TL;DR: In this article, a method for screening agents modulating IκBα protein ubiquitination by a functional ubiquitin ligase protein complex containing β-TrCP protein was proposed.
