The invention provides a preparation method of a ceramic composite lithium ion battery diaphragm. The preparation method at least comprises the steps that 1, ceramic powder and a dispersing agent aremixed and then added into a solvent, ball milling is conducted, then a certain mass of a polymer, light-cured resin and a photoinitiator are added, mechanical stirring is conducted, and an electrostatic spinning solution is obtained; 2, a base membrane is provided, and an electrostatic spinning process is conducted with the electrostatic spinning solution, so that nano ceramic fiber layers are deposited on the surfaces of the two sides of the base membrane, and after drying processing is conducted, a composite membrane is obtained; and 3, the composite membrane is cured with ultraviolet light,and after drying processing is conducted, the ceramic composite lithium ion battery diaphragm is obtained. The ceramic composite diaphragm prepared through the method has the advantages that the electrolyte retention rate, the strength and the diaphragm bursting temperature are high, pore size distribution is uniform, and the base membrane and the nano ceramic fiber layers are not likely to be stripped and is beneficial to improvement of the cycling stability performance and the high-rate charging and discharging performance of a lithium ion battery and suitable for the lithium ion battery.

A precursor material for lithium ion batteries and a method for manufacturing lithium ion batteries are provided. The precursor material is UV-curable and printable and can be used as a separator anda solid electrolyte. The precursor material includes a lithium salt dissolved in one or more organic solvents; UV-curable monomer in an amount from approximately 4 weight percent to approximately 10 weight percent, a UV-initiator; one or more host ion conductive polymers in an amount less than approximately 5 weight percent of the precursor material; and a ceramic powder. The precursor material, when cured, has sufficient mechanical rigidity to act as a separator preventing electrical shorting between a lithium ion battery cathode and a lithium ion battery anode, and also has sufficient electrical conductivity to function as an electrolyte for a lithium ion battery. The provided method enables the formation of batteries with complex shapes through printing.

The preparation method of the functional diaphragm comprises the following steps of: applying a mixture of the photocurable resin, the gel resin with the active functional group, the main solvent, the cosolvent and the photoinitiator to the base film, and ensuring that the formed coating is distributed on the base film in the shape of island during applying. After applying, the functional diaphragm is subjected to UV pre-curing, pore-forming and UV curing in sequence. The functional diaphragm can solve the problem of battery bulging.
