TL;DR: Organosulfur compounds have direct effects on colorectal cancer, including inhibition of multidrug resistance proteins, induction of apoptosis, activation of TGF-β, and inhibition of cancer stem cells. Further research is needed to evaluate their efficacy in vivo and clinical settings.
