TL;DR: It is shown that reduced H3K27me3 levels and DNA hypomethylation act in concert to activate gene expression in K27M mutant pHGGs, and it is demonstrated that this is caused by aberrant recruitment of the PRC2 complex to K 27M mutant H3.3.

Analysis of posaconazole as oral antifungal prophylaxis in pediatric patients under 12 years of age following allogeneic stem cell transplantation
Michaela Döring,Carsten Müller,Pascal-David Johann,Annika Erbacher,Astrid Kimmig,Carl-Philipp Schwarze,Peter Lang,Rupert Handgretinger,Ingo Müller +8 more
TL;DR: Posaconazole was a well-tolerated, safe, and effective oral antifungal prophylaxis in pediatric patients who underwent high-dose chemotherapy and HSCT and was well tolerated without severe side effects.
Effect of the HDAC Inhibitor SAHA on the Immunmodulatory Properties of MSC and Tumor Stroma Cells.
TL;DR: TStrC share several properties with MSC, and it is hypothesized that in this particular setting SAHA may facilitate tumorimmunological responses by interfering with the immune suppression exerted by TStrC, but it is found that SAHA reduced the suppressive effects of MSC on PBMC.

Intact Rac Signaling Is Important for Leukemia Cell Survival
TL;DR: The experiments demonstrate the importance of intact Rac signaling pathways for the survival of the majority of leukemia cell lines tested and demonstrate that dependence on Rac signaling is not restricted to leukemias characterized by MLL-rearrangements.

Tumour stromal cells derived from paediatric malignancies display MSC-like properties and impair NK cell cytotoxicity.
Pascal-David Johann,Martin Vaegler,Friederike Gieseke,Philippa Mang,Sorin Armeanu-Ebinger,Torsten Kluba,Rupert Handgretinger,Ingo Müller,Ingo Müller +8 more
TL;DR: TStrC displayed a strong antiproliferative effect on peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) in coculture experiments similar to MSC, and the inhibitory effect of TStrC on PBMC and especially on NK cells may facilitate the immune evasion of paediatric tumours.
