TL;DR: The analysis of cores revealed a stratigraphic sequence, which they interpret as the filling of a harbour basin this article. But the analysis of the cores revealed only a small fraction of the sedimentary contents of the basin.

TL;DR: In this paper, the preuve sedimentaire de localisation du port antique de la cite d'Ostia par l'utilisation de carottages is uncovered, and a number of nombreuses tentatives of localisation of the port fluvial d'embouchure d' Ostia ont ete entreprises, without veritable succes.
