Novel aadA5 and dfrA17 variants of class 1 integron in multidrug-resistant Escherichia coli causing bovine mastitis
Manisha Behera,Parmanand,Mayank Roshan,Shiveeli Rajput,Devika Gautam,Ashutosh Vats,Soma Mondal Ghorai,Sachinandan De +7 more
TL;DR: The role of mobile genetic elements in the emergence of multidrug-resistant E. coli in bovine mastitis is explored and intercontinental dissemination of antibiotic resistant genes (ARGs) across different microbiomes via mobile Genetic elements is suggested.

Expression and characterization of novel chimeric endolysin CHAPk-SH3bk against biofilm-forming methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.
Manisha Behera,Gagandeep Singh,Ashutosh Vats,Parmanand,Mayank Roshan,Devika Gautam,Chanchal Rana,Rajesh Kumar Kesharwani,Sachinandan De,Soma Mondal Ghorai +9 more
TL;DR: This study indicates an effective reduction of preformed MRSA biofilms of human and animal origin using novel chimeric construct CHAPk-SH3bk using the combination and shuffling of different domains of phage endolysin potentially increase its bacteriolytic effectiveness against MRSA.

Development of an on-site lateral flow immune assay based on mango leaf derived colloidal silver nanoparticles for rapid detection of Staphylococcus aureus in milk
Rajib Deb,Parul Chaudhary,Prassana Pal,R. Tomar,Mayank Roshan,Parmanand,A. Ludri,Vivek Kumar Gupta,Sachinandan De +8 more
TL;DR: The developed LFIA, which uses economically feasible and stable silver nanoparticles derived from mango leaves, has the potential for routine screening of milk samples for the presence of Staphylococcus aureus, allowing for early diagnosis, which facilitates effective treatment for the dairy animals and prevents the transmission of the disease in consumers.

In Vivo Efficacy, Mechanistic Study and Synergistic Interaction of Precocene II with Norfloxacin against Methicillin‐Resistant Staphylococcus aureus
Karishma Agarwal,Sneha Sinha,Parmanand,Pooja Rani Mina,Surendra Chandra Verma,Ram Swaroop Verma,Sudeep Tandon,A. Pal,Mahendra Pandurang Darokar,Atul Gupta +9 more
- 16 Mar 2022
TL;DR: In vivo results showed that 2 in combination with norfloxacin significantly reduced bacterial load at much lower concentrations through synergistic interaction without apparent toxicity.
