TL;DR: A web-based web tool designed to assist the in silico drug discovery attempts towards Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) and can be a potential enabler for scientists engaged in drug discovery in general and in anti-TB research in particular.
MetaNET - a web-accessible interactive platform for biological metabolic network analysis
Pankaj Narang,Pankaj Narang,Shawez Khan,Shawez Khan,Anmol J. Hemrom,Andrew M. Lynn,Andrew M. Lynn +6 more
TL;DR: MetaNET is a web-accessible platform that incorporates a range of functions which can be combined to produce different simulations related to metabolic networks, providing a user-friendly rich interface allowing the analysis of genome-scale metabolic networks under various genetic and environmental conditions.
Homology Modeling and Comparative Profiling of Superoxide Dismutase Among Extremophiles: Exiguobacterium as a Model Organism
TL;DR: The conservation and the prevalence of SODs among 21 representative extremophiles are discussed and a phylogenetic study based on SOD homology revealed that Exiguobacterium sibiricum was one of the closest neighbors of Deinococcus radiodurans and Thermus thermophilus.
BreCAN-DB: a repository cum browser of personalized DNA breakpoint profiles of cancer genomes
TL;DR: This work methodically identified breakpoint hotspots which were significantly enriched with somatic structural alterations in 99 cancer genomes and included previously reported breakpoint profiles from 138 cancer-normal pairs, spanning 10 cancer types into the browser.
FROG - Fingerprinting Genomic Variation Ontology.
TL;DR: FingeRprinting Ontology of Genomic variations, FROG is a novel and unique method designed for the purpose of labeling the entire variation data generated till date for efficient storage, search and analysis.
