Forces in prestressed concrete bridges constructed by free cantilevering
Géza Tassi,Pál Rózsa +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, a system of equations for the tendon forces as unknowns using the force method for the states of the construction of the cantilevers is written and the analytical solution of this equation is enabled by the recognition that the coefficient matrix of the system is a one-pair matrix modified by a diagonal matrix.

Analytical solution of basic equations of theory of structures for cable-stayed bridges
Géza Tassi,Pál Rózsa,Mátyás Hunyadi +2 more
- 01 Jan 2004
TL;DR: In this paper, the determination of forces in cable-stayed bridges by the deformation method and the force method using methods of linear algebra is discussed, and an analytical solution for determination of the internal forces in such structures is given.
Forces in load bearing structures suitable to be treated by tridiagonal and one-pair matrices
Géza Tassi,Pál Rózsa +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the inverse of each tridiagonal matrix is a one-pair matrix and vice versa, which enables us to find an analytical solution in numerous particular problems, such as reinforced concrete and cable-stayed structures.
