The Kurikulum Merdeka is an innovation in the world of education that requires teachers to play an active role in developing their competencies. This article aims to analyze the concept and model of teacher competency development, factors influencing teacher competency development, and effective strategies or methods for developing teacher competency in implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka. This article uses a qualitative descriptive research method by collecting literature from various sources that discuss teacher competence development. These factors influence teacher competence development and effective strategies or methods for developing teacher competence in implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka. Several significant findings from this literature review include that teachers have a strategic role in developing all aspects of human personality and abilities. Effective strategies and methods for developing teacher competency are also written, including training and development, collaboration and sharing, and the use of technology in learning. From these findings, it can be concluded that developing teacher competence in implementing the Kurikulum Merdeka requires understanding the concepts and types of teacher competence. These factors influence teacher competence development and effective strategies or methods for developing teacher competence. Hopefully, this article can provide insight and recommendations for educational practitioners in developing teacher competency in the Kurikulum Merdeka era. AbstrakKurikulum Merdeka Belajar merupakan inovasi dalam dunia pendidikan yang menuntut peran aktif guru dalam mengembangkan kompetensi mereka. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep dan model pengembangan kompetensi guru, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengembangan kompetensi guru, serta strategi atau metode yang efektif untuk mengembangkan kompetensi guru dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan berbagai literatur dari berbagai sumber yang membahas tentang pengembangan kompetensi guru, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengembangan kompetensi guru, dan strategi atau metode yang efektif untuk mengembangkan kompetensi guru dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Beberapa temuan penting dari kajian literatur ini antara lain guru memiliki peran strategis dalam mengembangkan seluruh aspek kepribadian dan kemampuan manusia. Selain itu dituliskan juga strategi dan metode yang efektif untuk mengembangkan kompetensi guru antara lain pelatihan dan pengembangan, kolaborasi dan sharing, serta penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Dari temuan-temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan kompetensi guru dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka memerlukan pemahaman tentang konsep dan jenis-jenis kompetensi guru, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengembangan kompetensi guru, serta strategi atau metode yang efektif untuk mengembangkan kompetensi guru. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan dan rekomendasi bagi para praktisi pendidikan dalam mengembangkan kompetensi guru dalam era Kurikulum Merdeka.Kata Kunci: Implementasi kurikulum; kompetensi digital; kompetensi guru; Kurikulum Merdeka.

Teacher competence development in Kurikulum Merdeka implementation: A literature study

This study analyzes student engagement in hybrid learning by analyzing digital literacy and academic self-efficacy. This study used a quantitative approach with the survey as a data collection method. The population in this study was 370 students, the faculty of teacher training and education at state universities in Jakarta, and private universities in Banten and Lampung. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling, obtained by 105 respondents. Data was collected through questionnaires, and structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the relationship between constructs. The results of this study state that Digital literacy and academic self-efficacy play an important role in creating student engagement in hybrid learning. The ability of students to use digital learning resources will support active participation in the learning process. A high academic level of self-efficacy also helps them to be able to have confidence and perseverance during the learning process. Digital literacy and academic self-efficacy will bring students to be actively involved in the digital learning environment and play an essential role in shaping or maintaining student motivation and persistence in learning. Students' engagement levels can be increased by increasing their ability to use digital technology effectively and increasing their confidence that they can achieve their desired academic goals.

Understanding Student Engagement in Hybrid Learning : An Analysis Impact Digital Literacy and Academic Self-Efficacy

The synthesis of digital teacher competencies for students in the higher education teaching profession aims to: 1) synthesize digital teacher competencies for teacher students in higher education 2) assess how suitable these digital teacher competencies are for students in the teaching profession within higher education. This study employed document analysis and exploratory research. The researcher conducted an in-depth analysis of research papers and articles published from 2014 to 2023 related to digital teacher competencies in higher education students. These papers had been published in research database and were selected based on their titles and keywords. In total, 22 research papers were initially considered. After a rigorous review, 12 studies in both Thai and English were shortlisted for further analysis. The researcher synthesized a theoretical framework and a design framework. Then, a questionnaire was administered to 5 experts in the field, and their responses were analyzed using statistical measures, including averages and standard deviations. 
 
The results of the research showed that 1) digital teacher competencies for higher education teacher students consist of 9 competencies, namely: Competency 1. Knowledge, skills, abilities about digital technology, Competency 2. Adaptation and change of technology. Competency 3. Solving problems and using digital technology and organizing virtual environments 4. Ethics, morality and technological safety 5. Communication and team work 6. Teaching strategies and ICT application 7. Innovative education creators and evaluators 8.expected characteristics and learned lesson, and 9. Connecting knowledge and fostering collaboration; 2) the results of the assessment of the suitability of digital teachers for higher education students by experts are at the most appropriate level, with a mean (x ) score of 4.51, a standard deviation (S.D.) of 0.21.

Synthesizing Digital Teacher Competencies for Teaching Profession Students in Higher Education

This research aims to measure the effect of digital literacy on students' problem solving abilities in physics subjects which are limited to class XI dynamic fluid material. This research uses quantitative methods with a causal associative research design. The sample for this research was 74 students obtained from the sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. The research instruments used in this study were a questionnaire sheet for the digital literacy variable and a question sheet for the problem solving ability variable. The data analysis technique that will be carried out is inferential statistical analysis using simple linear regression hypothesis testing. The results of this study show a significance value of 0.00, which means it is smaller than 0.05, so there is an influence between digital literacy and students' problem solving abilities. However, this research has limitations, namely it only focuses on measuring the influence and only on dynamic fluid materials. 

The influence of digital literacy on students problem solving ability in physics subjects

The study's objective was to determine how students felt about university blended learning programs. This study looked at evidence showing how blended learning affects students' perceptions. The study's population of concern included all social sciences students from 2-universities in Multan district (Bahauddin Zakariya University & Women University). Sample of study comprised 360 students from social sciences faculty, 30 students were selected from each department. Questionnaire was developed for students. The questionnaire contains 25 items for students' perception and a five-point Likert scale was used for scoring. Statistical methods were applied to obtain findings about student reactions like %, mean, frequency and SD was used to apply and examine the perception of students about blended learning program. It was found that majority of participants believe that blended learning helps make students independent, inspired, confident & more effective. Students should participate in training program to improve ability to use technology in blended learning & regular feedback sessions should be encouraged.

Analyzing the perception of students about hybrid learning program in universities

In teaching management in modern times, teachers must have digital competence because nowadays digital platforms are being used in teaching and learning in a variety of ways. The objectives of this research aim to study the components and indicators of digital teacher competency in schools under the provincial administrative organization. The tools used to collect the data were the assessment form for the suitability of components and indicators, which was confirmed by seven experts. The results of the study showed that the components of digital teacher competency in schools under the provincial administrative organization are four components: (1) digital literacy; (2) use of digital tools and media; (3) problem-solving using digital tools; and (4) digital adaptation and transformation. Overall, each element is the most appropriate. The components and indicators of digital literacy are best suited. The digital tool and media use components and indicators are the most appropriate. The components and metrics for problem-solving with digital tools are optimal. The elements and indicators of digital adaptation and transformation are most appropriate.
