Stimulated scattering instabilities of electromagnetic waves in strongly coupled plasmas
Padma Kant Shukla,Padma Kant Shukla,Sergey V. Vladimirov,Sergey V. Vladimirov,Mitsuhiro Nambu +4 more
TL;DR: In this article, the nonlinear interaction between large-amplitude electromagnetic waves and new collective low-frequency modes of dense strongly coupled two-component plasmas has been considered.

Generation of density and magnetic field fluctuations by an electromagnetic wave packet in a magnetized plasma
TL;DR: In this article, the nonlinear interaction of a high-frequency short electromagnetic wave packet with a background magnetized electron plasma is considered and the possibility of excitation of both the low-frequency electrostatic potential and magnetic field fluctuations by the electromagnetic radiation pressure is demonstrated.

Parametric instabilities and nucleation of coupled Langmuir and acoustic waves in a weakly-ionized plasma
TL;DR: In this article, a pair of coupled equations governing the nonlinear interaction between Langmuir and acoustic waves in partially-ionized plasmas are presented, and the results are of relevance to the lower part of the ionosphere, radio-frequency driven gas discharges, as well as the interstellar medium.
