Photon scattering off 52Cr: Two-phonon E1 strength at the N = 28 shell closure?
Joachim Enders,P. von Brentano,J. Eberth,R.-D. Herzberg,N. Huxel,H. Lenske,P. von Neumann-Cosel,N. Nicolay,Norbert Pietralla,H. Prade,J. Reif,Achim Richter,Ch. Schlegel,Ronald Schwengner,S. Skoda,H.G. Thomas,I. Wiedenhöver,G. Winter,Andreas Zilges +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the excitation of a J = 1 state at 5544 keV is observed which is believed to belong to 52 Cr because of the strength of the signal and the large natural abundance.

Fragmentation of the Two-Octupole Phonon Multiplet in 208 Pb
TL;DR: The concept of phonons is a keystone for the description of collective excitations in many-body systems and the best way to examine its validity in real physical systems is to study deviations from the harmonic picture for multiphonon excitations.
Intermediate structure in the photoexcitation of 77Sem, 79Brm, and 137Bam.

TL;DR: Intermediate states in $^{77}\mathrm{Se}$ displayed very large strengths compared to other isomers in the same mass region, providing further support for the correlation between integrated cross sections and ground state deformations recently discovered in the A=160--200 mass region.

Enhancement of the isovector M1 strength in {sup 28}Si due to meson exchange currents
TL;DR: In this paper, the meson exchange currents (MECs) can induce an enhancement of the B(M1) strength in nuclei over the corresponding Gamow-Teller strength.
