Energy and linear-momentum dissipation in the fusion reaction of 165Ho + 20Ne at 30 MeV/nucleon.
D. Hilscher,H. Rossner,A. Gamp,U. Jahnke,Brigitte Cheynis,B. Chambon,D. Drain,C. Pastor,A. Giorni,C Morand,A. Dauchy,P. Stassi,G. Petitt +12 more
TL;DR: The preequilibrium component of the neutron spectra has been parametrized with a hot-moving-source fit and for the highest linear-momentum transfer the forward-to-backward anisotropy in the angular distribution is smallest and the quality of the fit is best.

Tracking the dissipation of energy and angular momentum in central collisions between Ag and 40Ar of 7, 17, 27, and 34 MeV/nucleon.

TL;DR: The results support a classical picture of extensively thermalized emitter nuclei even for initial excitation energies of 5 MeV per system nucleon and spins of \ensuremath{\ge}100\ensureMath{\Elzxh}.

Li-Li azimuthal angular correlations: A test for emission from a rotating source versus instantaneous multifragmentation.

Cheynis,B. Cheynis,D. Drain,D. Drain,C. Pastor,C. Pastor +39 more
TL;DR: Comparisons can give a promising test for sequential emission from a rotating source versus instantaneous explosive multifragmentation, but one needs a very good selection of collision centrality to reduce the role of the collective rotation.

Evolution of fragment-fragment correlations in reactions of sup 197 Au and sup 107,109 Ag with sup 40 Ar from 7 A to 34 A MeV
T. Ethvignot,N. N. Ajitanand,James Alexander,E. Bauge,A. Elmaani,Ludwik Kowalski,M. Lopez,M. T. Magda,P. Desesquelles,H. Elhage,A. Giorni,D. Heuer,S. Kox,Annick Lleres,F. Merchez,C Morand,D. Rebreyend,P. Stassi,J. B. Viano,F. Benrachi,B. Chambon,Brigitte Cheynis,D. Drain,C. Pastor +23 more
TL;DR: In-plane and out-of-plane angular correlations have been measured between fragments of {ital Z}{gt}3, Li fragments, {sup 3,4}He, and {sup 1,2,3}H.

- 07 Jul 2009
TL;DR: In this article, a linear relation between the electric field produced and the cross product of the shower axis with the geomagnetic field direction has been presented, and some hints on its physical origin are given.
