Variable high gradient permanent magnet quadrupole (QUAPEVA)
Fabrice Marteau,Amin Ghaith,P. N’gotta,C. Benabderrahmane,Mathieu Valléau,Charles Kitegi,Alexandre Loulergue,J. Vétéran,Mourad Sebdaoui,Thomas André,G. Le Bec,Joel Chavanne,Cynthia Vallerand,Driss Oumbarek,O. Cosson,F. Forest,P. Jivkov,J. L. Lancelot,M. E. Couprie +18 more
TL;DR: The QUAPEVA as discussed by the authors is a permanent magnet based quadrupole, composed of a Halbach ring and surrounded by four permanent magnet cylinders, which can reach up to 200 T/m for a typical 10 mm bore diameter.

Variable high gradient permanent magnet quadrupole (QUAPEVA)
Fabrice Marteau,P. N’gotta,C. Benabderrahmane,Amin Ghaith,Mathieu Valléau,Alexandre Loulergue,J. Vétéran,Mourad Sebdaoui,Thomas André,G. Le Bec,Joel Chavanne,Cynthia Vallerand,Driss Oumbarek,O. Cosson,F. Forest,P. Jivkov,J. L. Lancelot,M. E. Couprie +17 more
TL;DR: The QUAPEVA as discussed by the authors is composed of a Halbach ring placed in the center with a bore radius of 6 mm and surrounded by four permanent magnet cylinders capable of providing a gradient of 210 T/m. Magnetic measurements of seven systems of different lengths are presented and confirmed the theoretical expectations.

Hybrid high gradient permanent magnet quadrupole
TL;DR: In this paper, an innovative compact permanent magnet quadrupole with a strong gradient for potential use in future light source lattices has been presented, which includes simple mechanical parts, rectangular permanent magnet blocks and soft iron poles.

Photon Diagnostic for FLASH2020+: Analysis of Spontaneous Radiation for Undulator Alignment
P. N’gotta,M. Tischer +1 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors present a photon diagnostic station for FLASH2020+, an additional tool for alignment and commissioning of the undulators, which can be used for the measurement and correction of the electron beam orbit as well as for measuring the undulator K-values.
Permanent Magnet phase shifters for FLASH2020+ FEL
TL;DR: In this paper , a simple and compact permanent magnet (PM) phase shifter is presented, which is based on four PM blocks per girder (8 PM blocks in total), and uses only one type PM block with horizontal magnetization and 15mm length.
